Zenless Zone Zero is one of the biggest releases of 2025, with over 50 million downloads in just a few days after its release. The title is another huge hit from miHoYo, but it’s not perfect on the technical side, with server errors and launcher issues. If you’re playing Zenless Zone Zero on your PS5 and are getting the “server not found” error, here’s how to fix it.
Fix error where Zenless Zone Zero server cannot be found
To resolve the server not found error in Zenless Zone Zero, you’ll need to update your PS5’s DNS settings to use Cloudflare’s open DNS values.
This is a common issue with many multiplayer titles that have trouble connecting to servers. Using free DNS values often improves online stability, and this is also true for Zenless Zone Zero on PS5. Here’s how to set it up:
- First, make sure Zenless Zone Zero is not running.
- Open your PS5 settingAnd choose network
- Choose Setting up an Internet connection
- Choose now Use wifi or Use a LAN cable It depends on the connection type.
- Choose DNS settingand set it manual
- After that, set the value Primary DNS to 1.1.1.1
- Likewise, set the values. Secondary DNS to 1.0.0.1
- Choose complete
- Restart your PS5 just in case
Once done, Zenless Zone Zero will be able to connect to the server without any issues. For now, this is the only solution to this issue until miHoYo fixes it with a patch.
If that doesn’t work, try these general troubleshooting tips:
- Restart your modem/router
- Use a different connection type
- Try starting your download using a different network connection or connect to the server initially.
This rare error is more common on PS5 than on PC or mobile devices. If you’re on PC, you might get a download error 200 instead. For more information on Zenless Zone Zero, check out our dedicated section.
