There are 16 Prophecy Tablet puzzles spread all over Amphoreus in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0.
All of these puzzles require you to use specific shapes to recreate an example image. It’s as simple as that, on paper. The trick is that you’ll need to match the shapes in very specific ways, as they cancel each other out when they overlap. Use that to your advantage to recreate the examples the game gives you!
In this guide, we’ll go over where to find every single one of the 16 Prophecy Tablets currently in the game and how to solve them.
All 16 Prophecy Tablet Puzzles | Honkai: Star Rail
Story Prophecy Tablet Puzzles
Let’s start by going over all of the Prophecy Tablet Puzzles you encounter during the main story in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0. This covers 5 of the 16 puzzles currently in the game. All of these are required to progress through the story, too, making them the most important ones!
Bolt Quietus | Wasteland, Hark Back Glory of Old
We covered this one in its own dedicated article. You’ll encounter it fairly early into the “Wasteland, Hark Back Glory of Old” Trailblaze Mission. That means it’s the first Prophecy Tablet puzzle you’ll encounter throughout the story! Anyway, let’s go over how to solve this one.
As an introduction to Prophecy Tablet puzzles, you simply need to imitate the image on the left side of the screen. To start, grab the square block and put it in the center of the panel. It should look like the example above.
Then, grab one of the triangle blocks and place it on one of the bottom corners of the square. For example, we’re putting it in the bottom left corner first. Remember that overlapping block sections will cancel each other out.
Lastly, grab the remaining triangle block and put it on the remaining bottom corner of the square. Since we placed the first one on the left, we’ll place this one on the right. This will solve the puzzle, removing the lightning bolt. You can now progress the quest!
Gate Unlock | Wasteland, Hark Back Glory of Old
This is the second Prophecy Tablet puzzle you’ll encounter during the main story in Star Rail 3.0. It’s around the middle of the “Wasteland, Hark Back Glory of Old” Trailblaze Mission. Despite having more moving parts than the previous one, it’s actually simpler.
First, grab both of the angled triangles on the bottom of the tablet. Move them to the bottom part of the central drawing. The result should look like in the example image above.
Next, grab the triangle on the top right of the Prophecy Tablet. Place it on the upper left corner of the background drawing.
Lastly, grab the triangle on the top left of the tablet and place it in the upper right corner of the drawing. It should look like the example above, solving the puzzle.
Blockage Unsealed | Night Veil, Shroud the Silent Past
You’ll encounter this Prophecy Tablet puzzle partway through the “Night Veil, Shroud the Silent Past” Trailblaze Mission. More specifically, it’s near the end of the Oronyx’s Scales puzzle in the Abyss of Fate Janusopolis area. It’s required to open a door to get a large weight.
To start, grab the large triangle up top and position it in the center. It should be covering the two small triangles on the top in the background image. Use the screenshot above for reference.
Then, grab the upward small triangle on the bottom left and place it over the topmost part of the large central triangle. It should look like in the image above.
Lastly, grab the downward small triangle on the bottom right and put it right in the middle of the Prophecy Tablet. As before, it should look like the example screenshot above. This will solve the puzzle. The door will unlock and reveal a large weight.
Structural Simulation | Kremnos, Clean Thy Rusted Blood (II)
You’ll encounter this Prophecy Tablet during the “Kremnos, Clean Thy Rusted Blood (II)” Trailblaze Mission. It’s when you need to ignite the fire pit in the Bloodbathed Battlefront Castrum Kemnos area. This one definitely uses weirder shapes than all the previous Prophecy Tablet puzzles you find during the 3.0 story in Honkai: Star Rail!
First up, place the large downward triangle smack dab in the middle of the Prophecy Tablet. It should fully cover the background drawing.
Then, grab the diamond on the top part of the tablet. Place it on top of the downward triangle. It should look like our example screenshot above.
Lastly, grab the small upward triangle and use it to cover the leftover top part of the diamond you just placed. This should give you the “V” shape required, solving the puzzle!
Path Revelation | Kremnos, Clean Thy Rusted Blood (II)
The last of all the Prophecy Tablet puzzles you’ll encounter during the main story in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0. Like the one before, you need to do this one as part of the “Kremnos, Clean Thy Rusted Blood (II)” Trailblaze Mission. It’ll be required when you need to speak with a wandering spirit with Castorice’s help. Being the final one, it amps things up by having the most shapes so far!
For our first move, we’ll take the only diamond shape on the tablet. Place it in the middle of the drawing, covering the empty hole.
Then, grab the triangle facing right and put it on the right side of the drawing.
Similarly, grab the triangle facing left and place it on the left side of the drawing!
Next up, grab the angled triangle on the bottom left and place it in the middle of the drawing. It should cover the top left part of the diamond we placed at the start.
Then finish up the drawing by grabbing the triangle on the bottom right. Place it so that it covers the bottom right part of the diamond in the middle. As always, use the example screenshot for further reference. This should solve the puzzle!
Exploration Prophecy Tablet Puzzles
With all of the story-based Prophecy Tablet puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 done, it’s now time to go over the ones you find through exploration. These are spread all over Amphoreus and aren’t required for the story. However, you’ll want to do them for rewards and 100% exploration completion.
Harvest – “Strife Ruins” Castrum Kremnos B1
You can find this Prophecy Tablet in the eastern part of “Strife Ruins” Castrum Kremnos B1. It’s near one of the spots where you use the Hand of Zagreus as a bridge.
For this puzzle, you need to use 3 small diamond shapes and 1 large diamond to imitate the picture on the left.
First, move the small diamond on the bottom so that it covers the bottom tip of the background drawing.
Then, move the large diamond slightly a bit downward. It should cover the top tip of the small diamond you moved in the previous step, as shown above.
Next up, use one of the small diamonds to cover one of the sides of the large diamond. For example, the screenshot above has us placing the small diamond on the right of the tablet on top of the large diamond’s right side.
Lastly, use the remaining small diamond to cover the other side of the large diamond. It would be the left side, in our case. Puzzle solved!
Harvest – “Strife Ruins” Castrum Kremnos F2
You can see the spot for this Harvest Prophecy Tablet on the map above. It’s on the F2 floor of the “Strife Ruins” Castrum Kremnos area.
There are quite a lot of different triangles to use this time, as well as one diamond!
For our first move, we’ll put the singular diamond shape in the middle of the tablet. It should cover the triangular hole in the middle of the background drawing.
Next, use the larger angled triangles on the bottom of the tablet to form a square. Put them over the rightmost side of the drawing. The downward triangle forms the left side, as shown above.
Then, the upward triangle forms the right side of the square.
Now, grab the triangle on the top right of the tablet and put it over the right side of the square.
Lastly, use the remaining triangle facing left and put it on the leftmost tip of the drawing. Puzzle done!
Harvest – “Bloodbathed Battlefront” Castrum Kremnos Excavation Ground
You can find this Prophecy Tablet inside of the puzzle room by the Excavation Ground Space Anchor in “Bloodbathed Battlefront” Castrum Kremnos F2. That’s a mouthful and half, right?
The Prophecy Tablet is in the upper left corner of the puzzle room, shown above. That would be the southeastern corner of the room if its map followed the same rules as other maps in the game.
This time you have to make 3 small separate diamonds using 3 medium diamonds and 1 large diamond.
First up, grab the large diamond on the left side of the tablet and put right in the middle. It should cover all 3 small diamonds in the background drawing.
Then, grab one of the medium diamonds and place it so that it covers the top tip of the large diamond.
Similarly, drag another of the medium diamonds and cover the large diamond’s right tip. As you can see, the shape kinda looks like a heart now.
To finish up, grab the remaining medium diamond and cover the large diamond’s left tip. This should finish the puzzle, solving this Prophecy Tablet.
Ebb and Flow – Oronyx’s Scales Room 1
All of the next three Prophecy Tablet puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0 are in the Oronyx’s Scales puzzle room in “Abyss of Fate” Janusopolis. This is the same room where you needed to solve a puzzle as part of the “Night Veil, Shroud the Silent Past” Trailblaze Mission.
The Ebb and Flow Prophecy Tablet here is on the F3 balcony which is opposite the Oronyx’s Scales themselves. Getting up there takes a bit of work, though. To summarize, you need to have your character ride the left side (western) of the Oronyx’s Scales. Use the sphere in the room to weigh the right side (eastern).
Also note that, for some unknown reason, this puzzle does not appear on the map with the usual jigsaw piece icon. Yep, even if you haven’t solved it yet! This is most likely a bug, however. Our map shows its locations, nonetheless.
This time you have to turn 4 different sideways triangles into two small upward triangles.
For the first move, put the angled triangle on the bottom left over the left triangle in the background drawing. Similarly, put the bottom right angled triangle over the right triangle. The result should look like the screenshot above.
Use the top right triangle to cover the excess on the rightmost angled triangle, as shown above.
Then finish the puzzle by repeating that process with the triangles on the left side.
Balance – Oronyx’s Scales Room 2
You can get to this second Ebb and Flow puzzle right after the previous one in this guide. Use the Hand of Zagreus as a bridge to cross over to the northern section and reach the spot marked above. Similar to the one above, it does not appear on the in-game map for some players.
You get the exact same setup of triangles as the previous Ebb and Flow puzzle. The difference is that this time you need to make a pair of arrows pointing right.
Grab both of the larger angled triangles on the bottom part of the tablet. Place them over the background drawing as shown above. It should look like two arrows pointing toward the middle.
Next, grab the triangle pointing to the right on the bottom left of the tablet. Place it over the right arrow on the background drawing.
Lastly, grab the remaining triangle on the top right. Place it over the rightmost arrow in the background drawing to complete the puzzle.
Reveal – Oronyx’s Scales Room 3
The final Ebb and Flow Prophecy Tablet within the Oronyx’s Scales puzzle room. You can find this by the sphere weight, on the eastern side of the scale.
The setup is somewhat similar to the previous ones, giving you 4 different triangles to form the background drawing.
Just like we’ve done with the previous puzzle, grab both of the larger angled triangles on the bottom part of the tablet. Put them in the middle, covering the background drawing as shown above.
Then, grab the triangle on the top right of the tablet. It’s the one that’s pointing upward. Place it over the bottom of the drawing.
Lastly, grab the downward triangle on the top left of the tablet. Place it on the bottom part of the drawing to overlap the previous triangles and finish the puzzle!
Finishing all of the Ebb and Flow Prophecy Tablet puzzles will reveal a hidden section of the Oronyx’s Scales room. You can ride the scales to reach that spot and get some sweet loot. This was also the 11th puzzle on our list, so we’re nearly done with all the 16 Prophecy Tablet puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0.!
Harvest – “Abyss of Fate” Janusopolis Silent Shroud
This Harvest Prophecy Tablet is inside the puzzle room south of the Silent Shroud Space Anchor in the “Abyss of Fate” Janusopolis.
The Prophecy Tablet puzzle is in the far-right corner of the room, on the second floor.
This one’s a bit of a doozy. You have 1 square, 3 diamonds, 1 triangle facing right, and 1 triangle facing left. Plus, the shape you need to imitate is also somewhat complex!
To start, place the singular square shape you have in the middle of the tablet.
Then, grab a diamond and place it so that half of it overlaps one half side of the square. Repeat this for the other side with another diamond. The result should look like the screenshot above.
Next, grab the triangle facing right and put it on the leftmost side of the background drawing.
Similarly, grab the triangle facing left and put it on the rightmost side, as well.
Lastly, grab the remaining free diamond and place it in the middle of the tablet. This should complete the picture and solve the puzzle. See, it wasn’t really all that complex when you break it down!
CRRK? – “Abyss of Fate” Janusopolis Dreamshroud Mausoleum
You can find this very unique Prophecy Tablet on the F2 floor of the “Abyss of Fate” Janusopolis area. Just go directly south from the Dreamshroud Mausoleum Space Anchor. This one doesn’t show up on the in-game map with a jigsaw piece, but we’ve marked its location on the map above.
Now, this is one of the most unique Prophecy Tablet puzzles in Honkai: Star Rail 3.0. This one doesn’t have a clue at all, requiring you to collect all Creation Nymphs to get pieces of the clue. However, you don’t need to do that. You’re already here, so we can tell you the solution without needing to hunt down the nymphs!
First up, grab the diamond on the top of the tablet and place it over the left side of the square.
Then, grab the triangle facing left and place it over the bottom left corner of the square.
Similarly, place the triangle facing right over the top right corner of the square.
Next up, grab the upward triangle on the bottom of the tablet. It’s the top half of the fake diamond. Place it over the bottom half of the square in the middle.
Lastly, grab the downward triangle and place it in the bottom half of the square, too. It should look something like the image above, solving the puzzle for good!
Side Mission Prophecy Tablets
Wounds as a Remedy – I Once Was In Arcadia Mission
This Prophecy Tablet is part of the “I Once Was In Arcadia” side mission. You can find it in the “Eternal Holy City” Okhema area as you follow the quest. The marker above shows the mission’s starting point.
This time you have to use 2 parallelograms and 1 diamond to make the shape. Depending on who you ask, the shape is either a pair of arrows pointing up or a Christmas tree!
First, place the diamond right in the middle of the background drawing. It should form the top tip of the image and part of the base.
Grab the parallelogram on the top right and place it on the bottom right of the drawing.
Then grab the remaining parallelogram and place it over the bottom left of the drawing, finishing the base of the image and puzzle.
Insight is Blindness – Disquieting Dream Mission
This Prophecy Tablet puzzle is part of the “Disquieting Dream” side mission. The map above shows the mission’s starting location in the “Eternal Holy City” Okhema.
Don’t let the somewhat complex example image confuse you, it’s a lot simpler than it looks.
First up, grab both of the angled triangles on the bottom of the tablet. Place them in the middle of the background drawing so that it looks like the image above.
Then, grab the triangle facing left on the rightmost side of the tablet. Place it over the left half of the background drawing.
To finish up, grab the remaining free triangle and place it over the right half of the background drawing. That’s all there is to this puzzle!
Lie Become Truth – Disquieting Dream Mission
Just like the Prophecy Tablet before, this one is also part of the “Disquieting Dream” side mission. You have 4 different triangles and 1 diamond which you need to use to form the arrow-shaped image.
First up, grab the triangle facing right on the top right corner of the tablet. Place it on the leftmost side of the background drawing. It should fully cover the hollow part of the drawing.
Next, grab the diamond shape. Place it on the rightmost side of the drawing. Its left tip should touch the right tip of the previous triangle, as you can see above.
Now, grab the angled triangle in the bottom right corner. Place it in the middle-right section of the drawing.
Similarly, grab the angled triangle on the bottom left part of the tablet and place it in the leftmost part of the drawing.
Lastly, grab the triangle pointing to the left on the top left corner of the tablet. Its position should be obvious now! Slot it in the empty spot in the middle of the drawing, as shown above.
