Pinball enthusiasts and Dungeons & Dragons fanatics alike will probably be interested in this classy (and ridiculously expensive) new pinball machine.
I really like pinball machines. Pinball machines are certainly a relic of a bygone era, but they have remained constant and have become increasingly fancier over the years. To be honest, I would like one if I didn’t have to spend a lot of money. The problem is that you have to shell out a lot more cash to buy the machine. Especially if you want the newly released official Dungeons & Dragons units. The machine, which you can check out in the video below, is a product of Stern Pinball, “the world’s largest pinball game manufacturer,” and it certainly looks like an impressive machine.
This is an official collaboration with Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast to continue the TTRPG’s 50th anniversary. Players will be given access to “red dragons, gelatinous cubes, mimics, lich Sammaster, Xanathar the Observer, owlbears, and locations including places in Faerûn such as Arabel and Westgate.” Plus, it includes notable D&D names like Critical Role’s Matthew Mercer, Laura Bailey, Marisha Ray, and Luke Gygax, the son of game co-creator Gary Gygax.

However, the wildest member of the voice cast is easily Gerard Way. Yes, I think that person is Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance. No, I don’t know why he’s there, but it’ll be a fun fact for people if they end up buying it. Oh, and speaking of buying it, I almost certainly won’t be able to because it’s expensive.
For the Pro version, you’ll have to pay at least $7,000, but that goes up to $9,700 for the Premium version. Even more importantly, it’s a limited edition, with only 740 units sold and a price tag of $13,000. This is a very cool pinball machine. But I think this will just pass by.
