Vice President Harris and former President Trump have agreed to two separate town hall meetings to be hosted by Univision in October.
Journalist Enrique Acevedo will answer audience questions from undecided Hispanic voters. Trump will be the first to take the stage in Miami on Oct. 8, while Harris will hold an event in Las Vegas on Oct. 10. Both episodes will air in Spanish at 10 p.m. ET.
“With more than 36 million Hispanics eligible to vote, they are the largest minority group in the country and have the power to influence the outcome of the White House race and the future of our country,” Daniel Coronell, president of Noticias Univision, said in a statement.
Both cities chosen have large Hispanic populations: Miami is 70% Hispanic, and Las Vegas is 34% Hispanic.
Voters in each state are close in recent polls: Trump is slightly ahead among Florida voters, and Harris is ahead of Trump in Nevada.
