The verbal exchange between Mohammed Siraj and Travis Head was the highlight of Day 2 of the India vs Australia Adelaide Test. Siraj hit a six to Head and he cleaned up the batsman off the very next ball. The right-handed pacer celebrated wildly along the wicket, which did not impress Head. Afterwards, the Australian batsman exchanged a few words with Siraj, and it all ended with the pacer showing some lively gestures. This incident spread rapidly through social media.
Shiraz spoke about the match ahead of Day 3’s match, revealing what really happened between him and Head. Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh, a presenter on Indian broadcaster Star Sports, gave some interesting advice to Siraj, who was recently appointed deputy superintendent of police in his home state of Telangana.
“DSP goodbye (head) girl Hyderabad Come on, that’s why you have to arrest me. (Try to arrest him when he comes to Hyderabad to play in IPL)” Harbhajan jokingly told Siraj, “I am just joking. “I hope you do your best,” he added.

Notably, Head plays for Hyderabad-based franchise SRH in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He has been retained in the side for Rs 14 crore ahead of the IPL 2025 auction.
A masterclass from skipper Pat Cummins propelled Australia to a resounding 10-wicket win over India in the second Test in Adelaide. Australia, who chased victory by just 19 runs on day three, had no trouble as openers Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney got the hosts through in just 3.2 overs.
Earlier in the day, Cummins completed five wickets as Australia bundled India out for 175. For Australia, pacer Mitchell Starc took a total of eight wickets while skipper Pat Cummins picked seven in the game.
Batter Travis Head was the star player, scoring 140 points. For India, only Nitish Reddy has played a decent knock of 42 in each of the two innings. With this win, Australia leveled the five-match Border-Gavaskar series at 1-1.
