The Georgia Southern Eagles (8-4) face the Sam Houston Bearcats (9-3) in the 2024 New Orleans Bowl on Thursday night. The game will be played at Caesars Superdome and kickoff is set for 7 PM ET.
Under coach Clay Helton, the Eagles secured their third straight bowl appearance. However, they have yet to taste victory in their previous two bowl games, the 2022 Camellia Bowl and the 2023 Myrtle Beach, which ended in losses. But they have some momentum going into this game, including a win over Appalachian State in the regular season finale.
