David Pocock surprised his Instagram followers by sharing a sweet photo of his new baby, who was pictured enjoying a family holiday with his partner Emma.
The former Wallabies and Western Force star and his family appear to be enjoying their Christmas holiday in the country.
Emma showed off her baby bump at the Parliament’s Midwinter Ball in July.
The couple, who met in 2009, have not revealed their baby’s name or gender and have kept their private lives away from Pocock’s rugby and political careers.
The rugby union star went on to wish his followers a Happy New Year.
He captioned the post, ‘I’ve been spending a lot of time with my family and nature lately.’

The family was spotted enjoying their Christmas holiday in the countryside and Pocock was spotted hiking around the woods while relaxing with friends and relatives by a stream.
‘I hope you have time to enjoy the same.
‘And if you’ve tried to keep things going, thank you,’ he added.
‘Do your best next year too.’
Comments on the Instagram post were filled with congratulatory messages, with Pocock’s former team-mate Quade Cooper replying with three ‘love heart’ emojis.
One of Australian rugby union’s greatest players, Pocock retired from professional rugby union in 2020, having won 83 caps for Australia, with the number seven captaining the team after James Horwill suffered an injury in the mid-season Test series in 2012. Yes.
The South African-born 36-year-old announced he was ending his 15-year professional career at age 32 to focus on conservation efforts.

And speaking about his decision to step away from professional rugby, Pocock said: ‘With the looming climate and biodiversity crisis, it is more urgent than ever to build better ways to organize our lives, communities and societies.
The couple keeps their private life very quiet, not revealing their baby’s name or gender.
Pocock was elected as whip for the ACT Independence Party in 2021 after leaving the position in 2020.
He went on to excel for the Wallabies, capping 83 caps for Australia.

Over the years, Pocock has been deeply involved in several social activism movements, including refusing to legally marry his partner until the Australian government legalizes same-sex marriage.
In 2021, he announced that he would run as a candidate for the Australian Senate, and a year later he would be elected ACT leader for the Independence Party.
