Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has struggled to find his footing since President Joe Biden dropped out of the race and Vice President Kamala Harris took over the reins.
On Monday, two former advisers to President Trump offered suggestions on how to reinvigorate his campaign, but anyone who has supported the former president since at least 2016 knows he won’t follow their advice.
Larry Kudrow, who served as director of the National Economic Council in the Trump administration, invited former Trump senior adviser Kellyanne Conway to his Fox Business show, where the two discussed ways to regain some of the momentum Harris lost when she became the presumptive Democratic nominee.
They had a feasible idea if Trump were a completely different person who could follow directions.
For example, Kudlow said Trump would not “go away” or “give Harris aIt’s stupid and has all kinds of names.”
He also suggested that Trump “stay on message,” though as Raw Story points out, he didn’t specify what that message was from the start.
Conway summarized Trump’s “winning formula”:Reduce insults and increase insight.”
Since Trump is not very good at implementing policy, or even explaining it, many on X, formerly Twitter, laughed at Kudrow and Corney offering advice Trump would likely not follow.
