Apple Card launched in the US in 2019, and although it’s best used with Apple Pay as a solution, the company also offers a physical card made of titanium that allows holders to make purchases at stores that don’t accept contactless payments. Some Titanium Apple Cards Will Expire Soon
First-time customers with an Apple Card will now receive a notification via email that their Titanium Card will soon expire. MacRumors). Because the titanium Apple Card had no information engraved on it other than the holder’s name, users had no idea about the card’s expiration date. But now we know that the card has a validity period of about 5 years.
In an email, Apple said the new Titanium Card will be automatically sent to the cardholder’s billing address. The company also said customers can continue to use their Apple Card at any location that accepts Apple Pay.
A replacement Titanium card will be sent to your billing address so you can continue using it at your physical location. You can use your Apple Card anytime, anywhere that supports Apple Pay, even without a physical card. Your new Titanium Card will be delivered within two weeks from the date of this communication.
Your Titanium Card can continue to be used until it expires or until you activate a new card. You can use your Apple Card with Apple Pay and use your virtual card number to enter the number in Wallet or use Safari AutoFill to shop at merchants that don’t yet accept Apple Pay.
The company also said it will ship the new card with a prepaid shipping label so cardholders can send their old Apple Card to Apple for recycling.
It’s worth noting that Apple Card is only available in the United States.
