Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) attended the Baltimore Ravens NFL game Saturday along with Gov. Wes Moore (D-Pa.) against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The two Democrats sat next to each other at the game.
“Excited to invite my friend @JohnFetterman to Maryland to help the @Ravens win,” the Marylander wrote in a post on social media platform X.
The Ravens won by a score of 34 to 17, earning a playoff spot. Fetterman acknowledged the team in a follow-up post.
“If I lose (again), at least I’ll lose to the awesome governor of Maryland, @iamwesmoore,” the Pennsylvania senator and Steelers fan wrote.
This is the Steelers’ second loss in two weeks. Last week, Fetterman picked the Pittsburgh team to win against the Philadelphia Eagles and lost a bet to Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker (D).
“Between tonight and last week we lost to *serious* talent (looking at you @PeopleforParker),” Fetterman added in the post.
After a busy day at the Capitol on Tuesday, Fetterman walked around the Capitol wearing an Eagles hat as punishment.
Moore, an Army veteran, suffered a similar football loss last Saturday after Navy defeated Army in an annual rivalry game attended by lawmakers, tech billionaire Elon Musk and President-elect Trump.
