The 26-man squad trained with Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley at AXA on Friday afternoon ahead of the weekend’s clash with Manchester United.
Liverpool took two steps forward and one step back last week when it came to their injury list. Joe Gomez headed to the treatment room while Konate and Bradley planned their exit.
Gomez is expected to be “out for at least a few weeks” after suffering a hamstring injury at West Ham. Meanwhile, his fellow defenders returned to full training on Friday.
Previewing Sunday’s game, Arne Slot confirmed that both Konate and Bradley will take part in the session, but said Liverpool will have to wait and see how they “handle” the robbery.

Their involvement at Anfield is in doubt after a 37-day absence. However, the pair took part in indoor and outdoor sessions two days after their visit to Manchester United.
Virgil van Dijk is delighted to have his centre-back partner back in the fold, encouraging Konate, who still wears a strap on his knee during shooting drills.

Jarell Quansah is still expected to partner the Dutchman on Sunday afternoon, his first league start since away to Newcastle.
Notably, Federico Chiesa was brought in after missing the national team last weekend, and his absence was described as another example of the Italian managing his fitness demands.

But the 27-year-old continues to be linked with an exit and is expected to feature on the bench on Sunday.
Fortunately, there appeared to be no surprises as the squad had all been considered except for Gomez, who is in an enviable position ahead of eight games in January.

James McConnell, Trey Nyoni, Jayden Danns and Rio Ngumoha have been flying the flag for the academy, and they will each be hoping to get minutes in next weekend’s FA Cup tie.
