Liverpool lost their first game of the season against Nottingham Forest and one pundit was surprised by the tactics our team used in the game.
Robbie Musto told NBC Sports: “The way the midfield rotates is really unique.
“But it was a bad day for Liverpool and I’ll tell you why it was a bad day. It was a bad day in the last third of the game.

“I haven’t seen Liverpool pass the ball so poorly in many seasons.
“They find a way out, they break through the pressure, they buy a bit of time, and then – oh, the ball goes into the stands, oh, there’s an overhit ball, oh, Mo Salah comes in and tries to connect and gets taken out of play, Mo Salah comes in and tries to shoot and gets taken out of play.
“There were so many really bad last balls, and it continued throughout the game.”

It’s a pretty scathing report from the former Middlesbrough midfielder, who was clearly unimpressed with Arne Slot’s side.
A poor day from the midfield and attacking trio always means a tough afternoon ahead, so hopefully they will bounce back soon.
