Is he going to stay or go?
Exeter Chiefs have sent fans into a frenzy with an ambiguous video of Henry Slade. The video was captioned “Thank you Henry”, hinting that the star would be leaving the club.
Slade’s speech in the video hints that the player will leave. He said: “I have won, I have lost, I have experienced heartbreak and joy.

“I grew up shoulder to shoulder with teammates who became lifelong friends and raised a family here.
“Plucking the Red Rose for England was a dream come true and would never have been possible without the help of my Chiefs brothers…
“I have played with and learned from many great players that have come through our locker room over the years. I feel very proud that I am starting to have that impact on some of the young players here today.
“This is a special Chiefs team. They have the desire, talent and ability to reach the top. “I am very happy to see the journey they are on,” he said.
Several fans have asked for answers from the club on whether he will stay or leave.
One person wrote: “Is he saying goodbye or signing his contact information????”
Another said: “So he’s leaving? “This video is strangely ambiguous.”
And a third person wrote:i love you @ExeterChiefs But you regularly test my patience with your disastrous communication to your loyal supporters. This isn’t ‘clever’ at all and may just be the worst of the bunch… “In crowded places.”
It was thought that Slade was staying at the club. According to comments left by players, that may still be the case.
Alex Cuthbert wrote: “Anything that will help increase subscriptions.”
Ollie Woodburn added: “Good luck in Japan.”
