The Halloween saga is set to return to the video game world with two new titles, one of which is Evil Dead: The Game – developed with Unreal Engine 5 by the team at Boss Team Games.
Both games are being made in collaboration with the creators of the Halloween franchise. One of the two games is currently being developed using Unreal Engine 5 and will include input from film director John Carpenter.
“I’m a huge fan of video games, so I’m happy to help. Bring Michael Myers back to life “This game, and I hope it scares you,” said Carpenter, who will be “closely” involved in the development of the new project.
According to the official statement, the game allows players to ” Revisit moments from the movie And play as classic characters from one of the most iconic and important horror films of all time.” The two new games are being developed in collaboration with Compass International Pictures and Further Front.
The Unreal Engine 5 project is still in its early stages, so it likely won’t be released until Halloween 2025 🙂
