ONTARIO, CA – After announcing the first 24 participants for the 2025 MASL All-Star Game, the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL) has released a list of 22 players eligible to fill the remaining four spots. Captain Robert Palmer is one candidate. From now until Thursday, January 9th at 11 PM PST, fans can vote for one goalie, one defenseman and two more forwards by visiting www.maslsoccer.com/vote. Following a public vote, the final All-Stars will be added through the Commissioner’s selection.
The 2025 MASL All-Star Game will be held on Wednesday, February 12 in Utica, New York. The first 24 participants were determined by players, coaches and front office personnel from across the league.
Veteran Robert Palmer rejoins the Strykers organization after spending 2023-24 with the Kansas City Comets. While at Missouri, the Empire’s backline anchor played a key role in the Comets’ run to the most recent MASL final series. He led the league with 86 blocked opponent shots through 19 regular season games and added 20 in six playoff games. Palmer’s impressive performance in Kansas City earned the Jamaican the coveted MASL Defender of the Year title for the second time in his career. He was also named to the MASL Elite Six for the third time in the last four campaigns.
Robert Palmer, who has stopped 12 opposing shots in his first five games with the Strikers, is currently tied for second in the league for the 2024-25 season.
The Empire Strykers’ next home game is on Sunday, January 5th against the Tacoma Stars. You can purchase tickets here.
