St. Louis Ambush Press Release
St. Charles, Mo. – The St. Louis Ambush is gearing up for a busy road trip with three away games in four days. They kick off in Mexico when they clash with Chihuahua Savage at the Corner Sports Arena on Friday, January 10, 2025 at 8:00 PM CT. The two teams will face off again the following day, Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 8 PM CT. Following these two games, Ambush traveled to Toyota Arena in Ontario, California to face the Empire Strykers on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 8:35 PM CT.
Ambush comes into the weekend looking to improve on a 2-4-0 record. It will be a tough task against the Chihuahuas, who are currently in first place in the Major Arena Soccer League with a 5-1-0 record. Savage has been a scoring juggernaut so far, scoring 66 goals in six games. The Empire Strykers enter the weekend with a 3-3-0 record. They also have road games scheduled for Friday and Saturday, so their records will likely be different until they host the Ambush on Monday.
Ahead of this weekend’s trip, Ambush has called up Josh Szidik from the Ambush 2 (MASL2) team. Szidik, a native of Marion, Illinois, has appeared in four games for Ambush 2 this season, scoring 10 goals and adding seven assists. Those numbers put him second in MASL2 in points, tied for first in goals, and third in the league in assists.
The next Ambush home game is scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2025, when the Empire Strykers visit Family Arena for first kick at 5:05 PM CT.
Season, single-game and group tickets are now on sale for the remainder of the 2024-25 regular season. For more information, call the Ambush office at 636-477-6363.
