Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson got his family together at the Moana 2 premiere on Thursday, November 21, in Oahu, Hawaii.
The 52-year-old actor walked the red carpet with wife Lauren Hashian, mom Ata Johnson and their three daughters Simone, 23, Jasmine, eight, and Tiana, six.
The Johnson crew looked like the perfect family, dressed in tropical style clothing with floral wreaths around their necks.
Jasmine and Tiana took the spotlight wearing adorable matching tie-dye dresses in bright shades of orange, pink and yellow.
Meanwhile, Simone, Johnson’s eldest daughter with ex-wife Dany Garcia, kept it chic in a floral dress.
Before the event began, Lauren Hashian took to Instagram to share that Jasmine and Tiana were voicing characters in the new film.
In the video, the girls can be seen entering a recording booth at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Their faces lit up as they explored the space featuring set pieces inspired by the Moana franchise. The clip also captured the girls delivering their lines and their proud dad, who voices Maui, cheering them on from behind.
After hearing his daughters’ voices, Johnson jokingly said, “They are much better than their father.”
Hashian, 40, spoke about the moment in his Instagram caption. “Today was the sweetest and funniest day! I’m so excited that the Munchkins will be the voice actors for MOANA 2!! MOANA-BE’S! “There is a mini fan club of Moana on Moana’s island.”
She continued, “Tonight will be the first time we all get to see this movie and hear their little voices come alive… We can barely contain our excitement! This movie has always meant the world to them and now they always have an even more special connection.. It’s definitely worth celebrating!”
Moana 2 picks up three years after the events of the original film and follows Moana (Auli’i Cravalho) as she sets out on a new adventure beyond the shores of Motunui. Together with Maui and her new crew, Moana ventures into uncharted seas on the most daring journey in history.
‘Moana 2’ opens on Wednesday, November 27th, just before Thanksgiving.
