Indian cricket team coach Gautam Gambhir has come under a lot of flak on social media for his social media posts advertising a fantasy cricket app. Gambhir took to social media to post an ad for Real11 and within minutes his followers were calling him out for promoting a ‘betting app’. “Hopefully India can continue their dominance against Bangladesh in the T20Is as well. Social media users had previously called out Gambhir for criticizing former cricketers who had previously promoted pan masala and betting apps and even called it a “double standard”.

Earlier, India all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy said it was an idea to take on the Bangladesh spinners and credited coach Gautam Gambhir’s all-round effort for boosting the hosts’ confidence after his 86-run win in the second T20I.

The pair put on 108 runs for the fourth wicket off 49 balls to snatch the game from Bangladesh, with Reddy hammering seven sixes and four fours to make 74 off just 34 balls.
“Our conversation was smooth and there was no pressure. We didn’t plan anything on the score. We saw the spinner coming to bowl and we thought since this is the main over, we should take on him,” he said in a video shared by BCCI.
