Republic of Ireland international forward Dorothy Wall has joined Exeter Chiefs Women for the upcoming Premiership women’s rugby season.
The 24-year-old has 28 caps for Ireland, playing as a second-row or flanker.
She helped her country qualify for next year’s World Cup after finishing third at the Six Nations Championships this year.
Wall also captained Munster and Clovers in the Celtic Challenge.
She plays alongside Irish players such as Nicola Friday, Ethel McMahon and Cliodna Moloney at Sandy Park.
“At this point in my life, I feel I need a change, both personally and professionally,” Wall told the club’s website.
“I’m looking forward to playing at Sandy Park with my other Ireland team-mates next season.
“I would like to thank the IRFU and Munster Rugby for their support and understanding and I look forward to a huge commitment to Ireland as we head into the Rugby World Cup year.”
Exeter head coach Susie Appleby added: “Dorothy is a really exciting player who can play both in the back row and in the second-row, but she’s also a good ball carrier and has leadership experience.”
