Essentially presented as the “definitive” edition of the platformer, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD features the original challenges of the Wii version while also giving players the option to play in the more familiar “Modern Mode” settings of the 3DS edition. Also includes all additional levels from the 3DS version. Even with Modern mode enabled, DKC Returns remains one of the most challenging modern Nintendo platform games. If you liked Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, you’re almost certain to have a blast playing through 80 levels and 9 challenging worlds alone or with a partner.
