Walk early and wear a leash
Veterinarians recommend walking your dog. Before the main event begins. If fireworks or firecrackers explode, you may panic and escape. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times to avoid unexpected reactions.
Provide a calm environment
You can help calm your pet at home with a few simple steps. Darken the room and turn on the TV or radio to block outside sounds.Always stay with your pets if possible. The presence of the owner gives the dog a sense of security.
