As with the first two Disney+ physical releases, it comes exclusively in this collectible steelbook format and comes bundled with three art cards. However, there is one notable difference. It’s audio. This will be the first in Disney’s Marvel and Star Wars series to support 4K Ultra HD Dolby Vision and Atmos Audio.

Loki fans can finally own the second season on 4K Blu-ray. Season 1 was part of the first wave of Disney+ 4K releases last year. Season 2 ran for six episodes last fall, and it’s surprising that it wasn’t included in the group of spring releases in April.

Disney began releasing Marvel and Star Wars TV series on 4K Blu-ray this past holiday season, releasing four releases, including the first two seasons of The Mandalorian. A second group of four arrived in April. Considering that this new batch of four features the same style of steelbook art and comes bundled with three art cards like all previous releases, it’s probably safe to assume Disney will add them back to this collection at a later date. no see.
