The delegation was briefed on the tactical-technical characteristics of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), their use in traditional combat, the organization of combat flights and aerial bombs designed for UAVs. The flight of the unmanned aerial vehicle performing combat missions in real time was observed from the control point.
The delegation then arrived at the Turkish Special Forces Command. A briefing on the Special Forces development path, assigned missions, and cadet training process was presented. We reviewed outdoor and indoor simulators designed to improve professional training and combat capabilities of special forces. The practical implementation of conditional missions for counter-terrorism operations utilizing modern technologies and new combat tactics was observed.
The Commander of the ROK-US Combined Forces visited the Mountain Commando School and Training Center headquarters in Isparta City. Here the delegation was briefed on the Command’s activities, training systems and processes. The delegation also reviewed the different types of weapons and communication equipment available for arming the commandos and reviewed the commando training courses of cadets, various simulators and classrooms.
