Rajasthan Royals skipper Sanju Samson won the toss and chose to field first against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Delhi Capital Opening Match Jake Fraser-McGurke, Avishek Forell Delhi Capitals scored 50 runs against Rajasthan Royals as they posted 221/8 in 20 overs. Ravichandran Ashwin was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets in four overs. Yuzvendra Chahal became the first Indian to take 350 T20 wickets when he removed Rishabh Pant.
Despite skipper Sanju Samson’s 86, Rajasthan Royals trailed by 20 runs against Delhi Capitals in their 11th match of the season on Tuesday. Chasing 222, Rajasthan lost both their openers in the powerplay but Samson kept their hopes of victory alive before being dismissed by Mukesh Kumar.
Kuldeep Yadav is a game-changing player with great ball-handling skills. He said the 18th over was very important and he focused on his line and length against his power hitters. He added that he had a plan for Donovan Ferreira and it was all about changing his pace. He mentioned that he threw a couple of seam balls to see what the hitters were doing. I don’t think he thinks about it too much because high-scoring games put pressure on the bowlers. I think reading the batsman’s intentions is a big factor for any bowler.
