A goal kick from the ever-reliable Handre Pollard gave Leicester Tigers a stunning 34-34 draw against Harlequins in the English Premiership at Twickenham on Saturday.
The Springbok playmaker, known for maintaining his composure under pressure, scored 18 off the tee, including a last-minute conversion off the post to break the deadlock.
Pollard opened the scoring with an early penalty and his big-match temperament was most evident in the dying moments when Dan Cole’s late try provided the chance to level the game.

Since joining the Tigers in 2022, Pollard has been central to director of rugby Michael Cheika’s vision, blending skill on the ball with lethal precision with the boot.
The two-time World Cup winner’s influence extended beyond his kicks on Saturday, manipulating Leicester’s backline with authority as the East Midlands side produced a thrilling spectacle of attacking rugby to the tune of Queen’s’ four tries.
