The Rugby Championship saw a new winner for the first time since 2019 as South Africa claimed the final trophy with a 40-point win over Argentina.
At the other end of the spectrum, Australia finished the tournament with just one win and finished bottom of the table for the second year in a row.
Despite some improvement in the Wallabies’ performance throughout the tournament, the situation remains very bleak, at least a year after the end of the British and Irish Lions tour.
