Los Angeles- DAVE MATTHEWS will no longer perform at the Star Study Concert hosted for Ross Angeles-local forest fires, or this week’s Musicares Person of the Year Benefit Gala.
According to a post shared with the official Dave Matthews Band Instagram account, Matthews can no longer perform in any way.
A representative of the band said that there will be no opinion in the Associated Press anymore.
In Fireaid, Matthews was scheduled to perform for the first time with John Mayer in KIA Forum.
All proceeds from Fireaid helps the influenced by the fire. 501 (c) (3) was established and donations to Fireaid would be distributed to Annenberg Foundation and advised with Fireaid.
On Friday, Matthews was scheduled to be performed by Musicares’ 2025 people of the year.
Musicares is an organization that helps music experts who need financial, individuals or medical support.
At the beginning of the month, the recording academy (the people behind the Grammy) and the affiliates, Musicares, began to relieve the Los Angeles fire with a $ 1 million donation. According to a letter sent to members on January 13, they have already distributed $ 2 million in emergency aid thanks to additional donations. Currently, they have raised and promised more than $ 4 million for emergency support to people in the music industry that are affected by forest fires.
