Concord claims that it only sold a minimum of 25,000 copies across both platforms.
According to a new report from IGN, citing analyst Simon Charis, the game has sold around 10,000 copies on Steam and just 15,000 copies on PlayStation.
PlayStation doesn’t usually release specific sales figures. Concord has struggled to find a player base on Steam since its release. The game, developed by Firewalk and published by PlayStation, currently has 70 in-game players.
The game has received over 700 reviews on Steam, 512 of which are positive and 220 are negative.
According to Circana analyst Mat Piscatella, the game “ranked 147th in US PS5 daily active players across all titles, with less than 0.2% of active PS5 players playing it on Monday.”
In their review of Concord, VGC called it “a great shooter that breaks away from the realism of the genre.”
“Concord is a great shooter with a release strategy and price point that would have made much more sense in 2017, but it feels dated today. As a multiplayer-only live-service hero shooter, it’s fun, but even at its best, we’ve never felt strongly enough about it to tell someone who’s played three or four live-service games to drop what they’re doing and spend $40 on it.”
