When Cole Palmer was asked to name one player who would take a penalty to save his life, he chose former Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.

The Italian international was undoubtedly a very talented footballer. But his unsavory antics and apparent lack of work ethic on and off the pitch clearly did not sit well with former manager Jurgen Klopp.
In fact, a German tactician reports (tribune) asked Balotelli to seek a loan spell to further his development before returning to Merseyside.
The former Manchester City forward eventually left in the summer of 2016, joining Nice on a free transfer.
At least you can’t blame Cole Palmer for choosing the safe answer.
