Traffic Lights One of the government’s most important projects has been a long time coming. The pension package currently lies with the Bundesrat’s cabinet in July, followed by the Bundestag. However, that approach is associated with further disputes.
The key point of Pensions Package II is that it will take billions of dollars from the budget as well as pension funds, and in return it will keep pension levels stable until 2039.
