“Vote counting continues in Pennsylvania,” Casey campaign spokeswoman Maddie McDaniel said in a statement posted to the social platform X. “Yesterday’s vote margin decreased by 50,000 votes, and this primary is now within 0.5 points of the automatic recount threshold.” “In Pennsylvania.”

But the race between incumbent Rep. Casey and his Republican rival Dave McCormick has not yet been called at Decision Desk HQ. According to Decision Desk HQ, McCormick currently has an approval rating of 49% to 48.5% of Democratic senators, barely leading Casey by 0.5%.
“More votes are to come as ruby red Cambria County remains outstanding, up 30,679 votes,” McCormick’s campaign said in a statement Thursday afternoon.
“Votes will continue to be counted, but one way or another, Dave McCormick will become the next U.S. Senator from Pennsylvania,” Elizabeth Gregory, McCormick’s campaign communications director, said in a statement.
Despite Trump winning several battleground states, including Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada, Decision Desk HQ’s projections show Democratic senators like Sens.
