Cardi B hit back after Elon Musk called her a “puppet” of Kamala Harris’ campaign.

At the Wisconsin State Fairgrounds Exposition Center on November 1, Cardi B gave an impassioned speech about women’s rights and criticized Trump’s stance.
Cardi B said, “I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life.” “I don’t take lightly the call to show up, to speak out, to deliver the message that was on my mind right now.”
Let’s talk all about the 2024 election.
The “WAP” singer admitted she would not support Trump or Joe Biden in the 2024 election, but changed her mind when Kamala joined the race. “I didn’t trust any candidate until she got into the race and said what I wanted to hear and what I wanted to see in this country next,” Cardi said.
In her speech, she also criticized Trump’s comments about protecting women. “Women’s care, especially when we talk about maternal and mental health care, is not about telling women what to do with their bodies. It’s about supporting women and giving them the care they need if they choose to take control of their bodies. “People like Donald Trump don’t believe women deserve rights, and when those rights go away, you won’t find them anymore.”
But despite all the valid points and overall message of the Grammy-winning rapper’s speech, Elon and Trump supporters seemed to only focus on the teleprompter error and cell phones.
In a tweet quoting the original post criticizing Cardi B’s speech on the 2nd, Elon referred to her use of the phone and wrote, “Another puppet who can’t speak unless she’s told.” “There is no sincerity or real empathy in the Kamala campaign.”
Cardi B responded to Elon shortly after, quoting the following tweet: “I am not a puppet Elon. I am the daughter of two immigrant parents who had to work hard to support me!” I am a product of welfare, a product of Section 8, a product of poverty, a product of what happens when the system is set against you… .but you don’t know anything. About that. You know nothing about America’s struggle… PS Fix my algorithm.
Cardi B called out Elon for support on her social media platforms.
Cardi B responded to a comment on Instagram Live saying she read the speech on her phone. “I have a lot of people talking about, ‘Oh, why does she have to read on the phone?’ I should have written that shit down, bitch, I’m 32… I’ve got three kids. It’s crazy. Bitch.” She gave an example of even forgetting to argue with haters that she practiced in the shower all day.
“If shit happens here, I know what I want to say, but I had to make sure I don’t forget. I fucking wrote that shit down.”
