Canada rose four places to 31st in the rankings on November 28 after beating Suriname 1-0 and 3-0 in the CONCACAF Nations League quarterfinals last month. This leaves the Canadian men between Hungary and Serbia in the rankings.
Canada ranked 3rd in CONCACAF, which covers North and Central America and the Caribbean, following the United States (16th) and Mexico (19th). The Canadian men’s team will face Mexico in the CONCACAF Nations League semifinals in Inglewood, California, in March.
