A Brazilian illegal immigrant has been arrested by ICE agents in Massachusetts on suspicion of a string of sex crimes.
Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) announced that Jackson Bento-Pineiro was arrested in Wakefield, Massachusetts after illegally entering the United States.
Authorities said the 35-year-old man was charged in Massachusetts with rape and assault, indecent assault and battery, domestic battery and assault.

A law enforcement source confirmed to Fox News that the local bail board allowed him to post bail and be released again, despite an arrest warrant being issued for domestic violence charges.
Sources said ICE arrived on the scene and took him into custody.
The immigrant’s run-in with the law began in July 2021 when he was arrested at the border near San Ysidro, California.
The next day, border officials sent Bento a notice to appear before a Justice Department immigration judge and sent him back out onto the street.

Bento reported to Boston ERO on August 22, 2021, and was removed from the Alternatives to Detention (ATD) program, which allows immigrants to remain in the United States. Immigration procedures.
