One campaigner, titled “July 4th under Trump’s 2025 Project,” posted a still from a TV drama based on Margaret Atwood’s dystopian novel, which centers on the oppression of women in a totalitarian society.
“Project 2025” refers to a policy and strategy handbook from the right-wing Heritage Foundation that is widely expected to form the basis for a second Trump administration if he wins the 2024 election.
The think tank’s list of extreme proposals includes measures aimed at limiting access to abortion pills and contraceptives.
