King Bey kicked things off with a pre-recorded intro that set the tone for the halftime show at NRG Stadium.
She sang ‘Sixteen Carriages’ while riding a horse and wearing a white fur coat, matching hat and diamond necklace.
She then transitioned into the track “Black BIIRD,” bringing out the song’s Black country artists Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy, and Reyna Robert to join her. The movement appeared to be aimed at amplifying black representation in country music, a theme that continued throughout Beyoncé’s set.
Now live on stage, Bey donned a sequined bodysuit and called on Tina Turner for a high-energy performance of “Ya Ya,” before sitting next to Shaboozey to perform “SWEET → HONEY → BUCKIIN.”

She reinterpreted Dolly Parton’s ‘Jolene’ and ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ with Blue Ivy back-up dancers front and center.
Bey then hoisted the note high into the air and bellowed it out before closing the show with a poignant “Bang” and finger guns toward the crowd.

In addition to the celebrity cameo, Bey brought Texas Southern University’s “Ocean Of Soul” marching band to the next level, providing music for the evening and even bringing in the band’s drum major and the “Motion of the Ocean” dance line to perform along with her. .

As previously reported, Beyoncé’s publicist Yvette Noel-Schure said on Twitter that a tour announcement would not be made immediately.
“Incorrect. Nothing to report here. Whenever there is news, you hear it straight from the source first.” Amid talk that Bey will announce a tour after halftime, she responded to @ThePopThingz.
But now it looks like a tour is imminent, as Bey posted a video on her Instagram page captioned “Watch that horse” and ending with a date. 1.14.25.
You can watch Beyoncé’s performance again on Netflix. The streaming service announced that the show will soon be released as a standalone special.
