King Bey kicked things off with a pre-recorded intro that set the tone for the halftime show at NRG Stadium.
She sang ‘Sixteen Carriages’ while riding a horse and wearing a white fur coat, matching hat and diamond necklace.
She then transitioned into the track “Black BIIRD,” bringing out the song’s Black country artists Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy, and Reyna Robert to join her. The movement appeared to be aimed at amplifying black representation in country music, a theme that continued throughout Beyoncé’s set.
Now live on stage, Bey donned a sequined bodysuit and called on Tina Turner for a high-energy performance of “Ya Ya,” before sitting next to Shaboozey to perform “SWEET → HONEY → BUCKIIN.”

As previously reported, Beyoncé’s publicist Yvette Noel-Schure said on Twitter that a tour announcement would not be made immediately.
