Let’s get into the beginning of this month to make up for last month’s slightly late edition. A new month and season is coming. I’m ready to help you with some deck-building advice to help you stay competitive. marble snap (free). Truth be told, the game seems to have hit the right balance over the past month. But a new season means new cards, so things will get mixed up again. Let’s do our best to find out how things are going. As always, remember: Today’s winning deck could be tomorrow’s crispy brown leaves. This guide is one way to keep track of the scene, but it’s not the only way you should use it.
Please note that most of these decks are the best of the best at this point. They assume you have access to all types of cards. Once again, I will include the five strongest. marble snap And here are a few more decks that aren’t too hard to get and are just fun to play with. You know, a little bit of variety and all that.
I’d say most of the Young Avengers cards didn’t really make a huge splash. Kate Bishop hit her mark, as always, and Marvel Boy certainly made a difference for fans of the 1-cost Kazoo deck, but the rest were all over the place. You can see it here and there, but things haven’t shaken up yet. The same cannot be said about the newly released Amazing Spider-Season. Because new activated abilities are coming at you like a wrecking ball. I’m sure next month will look very, very different.
Khazar and Gilgamesh
Cards included: Ant-Man, Nebula, Squirrel Girl, Dazzler, Kate Bishop, Marvel Boy, Kaeira, Shana, Kazar, Blue Marvel, Gilgamesh, Mockingbird
So this is what happened, huh? I never thought I’d see the day when Kazoo would be among the best decks, but Young Avengers did just that. Essentially, this is a very friendly deck. Get a bunch of low-cost cards, then power them up with Kazar and Blue Marvel. The new trick here is that Marvel Boy adds more buffs and Gilgamesh benefits greatly from all of them. Kate Bishop and her arrows can help fill Dazzler’s space when needed, and her arrows will help lower the cost of another heavy hitter, Mockingbird. This is a very good deck with powerful performance. We’ll see if we can hang it there.
The Silver Surfer Still Never Dies, Part 2
Cards included: Nova, Forge, Cassandra Nova, Brood, Silver Surfer, Killmonger, Hope Summers, Nocturne, Sebastian Shaw, Copycat, Absorbing Man, Gwenpool
Silver Surfer is still flying high, with some tweaks to counter balance changes and new cards. If you’ve been playing for a while, you know how this goes. Once you have the card, there’s the classic Nova/Killmonger pair that can buff it up a bit. Forge is ideal for strengthening your Brood, allowing your clones to become stronger. Gwenpool strengthens the cards in your hand, Shaw gets stronger the more buffs he receives, Hope allows you to gain more energy, Cassandra Nova drains your opponent’s power, and the Surfer/Absorbing Man combo rounds out the style. . Copycat takes the place of Red Guardian, which has proven to be a very useful general-purpose tool.
Spectrum and the continued development of humanity
Cards included: Wasp, Ant-Man, Howard the Duck, Armor, US Agent, Lizard, Captain America, Cosmo, Luke Cage, Ms. Marvel, Man Thing, Spectrum
The Ongoing archetype is also at the top here, which is another interesting result. There are generally useful cards here, and they all have persistent abilities. This means Spectrum gives them a nice end-turn buff. The Luke Cage/Man-Thing combo is also very good, and Luke can also protect the card from US Agent’s powerful effects. Another great thing about this deck is that it’s very easy to play, and I have a feeling that with Cosmo progressing the way it is going, it’ll become even more useful than it already is.
Throw away Dracula
Cards included: Blade, Morbius, Collector, Swarm, Colin Wing, Moon Knight, Corbus Glaive, Lady Sif, Dracula, Proxima Midnight, MODOK, Apocalypse
Classics are the current trend and theme. Here’s a very reliable Apocalypse style Discard deck. The only change from the standard is the presence of Moon Knight. He got better after the buff. Anyway, your big cards here are Morbius and Dracula, and if all goes well, by the last round you’ll have nothing left in your hand but Apocalypse. Dracula will eat him, you’ll get Mega-Drac, and Morbius will have to abandon everything you’ve done and suffer all over the place. If you go to town enough with Swarms, the collector might get a little cocky.
destroy
Cards included: Deadpool, Nico Minoru, X-23, Carnage, Wolverine, Killmonger, Deathlok, Atuma, Nimrod, Null, Death
Yes, it is a Destroy deck. It’s even very close to the traditional one. Attuma has found its place here thanks to recent changes. This is a very successful buff. Destroy Deadpool and Wolverine as much as you can, get some extra energy with X-23, finish off with a bunch of awesome Nimrod, or drop Knull if you’re feeling cute. It’s strange to see a deck like this without Arnim Zola, but countermeasures against it seem to be becoming all too common these days.
Here are some fun decks for those who are continuing to climb the ranks of their collection or simply want to try something different.
Darkhawk is back (has he ever left?)
Cards included: The Hood, Spider-Ham, Korg, Nico Minoru, Cassandra Nova, Moon Knight, Rockslide, Viper, Proxima Midnight, Dark Hawk, Black Bolt, Steward
I’ve always liked Darkhawk, even though he’s been unspeakably stupid practically from his first appearance. So I’m glad he’s a competitive card in Marvel Snap, and I’m eager to tinker with decks using him. This has the classic combo of Korg and Rockslide adding cards to your opponent’s deck. It also includes some spoiler cards like Spider-Ham and Cassandra Nova, as well as a couple of cards that make it easier for your opponent to discard and play Stature. Yes, Dockhawk!
budget kazar
Cards included: Ant-Man, Electra, Iceman, Nightcrawler, Armor, Mr. Fantastic, Cosmo, Kazar, Namor, Blue Marvel, Claw, Onslaught
The Kazar deck over there looks good, but if you’re just starting out, I’d recommend practicing with this beginner-friendly variant. No, it probably won’t win as reliably as the fancy version. But it will teach you how these kinds of combos work, and it’s valuable experience. You still get a nice mix of Kazar and Blue Marvel, and top it all off with a flavorful onslaught to make your football stand out.
This is this month’s deck guide. I’m sure things will be quite different in October due to the latest season and the change in balance of our second dinner in a month. The Activate ability really changes the flow of the game and Symbiote Spider-Man is about to become a complete beast. As always, it will be interesting to see which cards and decks address the balance changes in Second Feast. It’s exciting to see a classic rise to the top again, but I can’t imagine it will stay that way. now… Have fun!
