Shirley Curry is one of the greatest women on the internet. The greatest woman on YouTube. Skyrim She has been filming for nine years at the young age of 79, recording a whopping 2,300 videos during that time. Mixing long in-game series with short, charming vlogs, Grandma Shirley has become a beloved figure to her 1.3 million subscribers. So it’s no wonder the internet’s grandma is no longer Skyrim Video. She’s just, understandably, tired of it.
“I’m not going to record any more gameplay,” Curry said after taking a deep breath. In the new vlog posted on the channel: “I seem to spend most of my time sitting at this computer, and recently—maybe in the past month—I’ve been coming in here and looking at the computer and thinking, ‘I take “I’m going to make a video today.’ And I just shake my head and say, ‘I don’t want to. I don’t want to.'”
It’s a sad video, maybe shortage Curry begins the video with a regretful tone, expressing how tired she is of the process. She explains that she has eye surgery the next day, and is clearly anxious about it, before talking about the recording. Skyrim“I’m old, I’m tired, and I don’t want to do much anymore.”
“I just do it for fun,” she explained, after laughing as her son continued to point out that she “isn’t like that.”have“I’m going to record a video. “And it’s not fun anymore. I’m tired. I’m bored. To death With that.”
It’s a really solid ending. Grandma Shirley has been taking a break for the past 10 years, but usually only for a few days or a week. In 2020, she took a break. Due to the exhausting necessity of the work.There is a constant nastiness to her comments.. Curry also took issue with how her videos, despite their massive subscriber counts, somehow manage to only get four-figure views, which she attributes to the gloomy YouTube algorithm that inevitably crushes old lady thumbnails or in-game footage, in favor of a clown with his mouth open and growling next to “Most Fail Ever!” or some such word.

Even then, she didn’t evaluate her chances of living until she saw it.. But she’s alive. I hope that Shirley is still alive and well and can play it whenever it comes out. Without the burden of having to make a video for it.
Luckily, there’s an epic archive of all the awesome videos she’s made, which feature a nice mix of top-of-the-line gaming chairs and a defiantly 4:3 aspect ratio (despite Curry playing on an ultrawide monitor). She also promises to continue uploading vlogs whenever she feels the need to.
Grandma Shirley, I hope your surgery goes well and I beg you not to feel guilty about having to leave. You have made so many wonderful videos that will last forever and we are grateful.
