The BCCI has also revised its rules regarding stoppage of runs. Now, if a batsman decides to stop scoring after a cross and a boundary is incurred due to an overthrow before he crosses again, only 4 boundaries will be scored. These changes are in line with what was agreed at the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
