The race for cinematic glory has officially begun as the BAFTA Film Awards 2025 nominations have been revealed. It’s a celebration of a year of storytelling, spectacle and outstanding performances. Number one on the list is conclaveEdward Berger’s gripping Vatican-set mystery thriller earned an impressive 12 nominations. Immediately following is Jacques Audiard’s bold, genre-defying work. Emilia PerezIt earned 11 nods at BAFTA. Both films set the stage for an unpredictable awards season filled with fresh faces, seasoned icons and eyebrow-raising surprises.
