Australian bowler Spencer Johnson will miss next month’s white-ball tour of England after suffering a hamstring injury while representing The Oval Invincibles in The Hundred.
The 28-year-old, who has played five T20Is since making his international debut last year, is expected to miss the remainder of The Hundred after bowling just five balls in last week’s win over London Spirit at the Oval.
“(Johnson) will return home for further assessment rehabilitation ahead of the Australian summer,” Cricket Australia said in a statement.
