Police in Aurora, Colorado, arrested 14 people accused of leading a violent armed home invasion at The Edge at Lowry Apartments.
The incident, which occurred around 2:30 a.m., involved a man and a woman breaking into an apartment, kidnapping two residents and subjecting them to a terrible ordeal.
The victims were moved to another apartment in the same complex and ‘threatened and detained.’ One of the victims suffered a stab wound, but luckily it was reported that the injuries were not life-threatening.
The Aurora Police Department responded quickly and detained those involved, with Chief Todd Chamberlain describing the crime as “unquestionably a gang incident.”
“They were pistol-whipped, beaten and abused,” Chamberlan said. “So does that constitute torture to me? Yes, I see.”
Aurora Police Chief Hammer Biden-Harris White House
Chamberlain said the violent home invasion was “without a doubt a gang incident.”
And while the Aurora police chief did not specifically link the cases to any specific gang, he noted that “there is a strong assumption that they are likely connected to the TdA (Tren de Aragua) gang.”
The Miami Herald previously described Tren de Aragua as a “bloodthirsty” gang with “many” members known for their “ruthless use of violence.”
The gang operates as an “umbrella organization for smaller gangs specializing in all types of crime, from kidnapping, extortion and drug trafficking to prostitution, robbery and murder-for-hire,” the Herald reported.
Chamberlain torched the White House during a press conference about his latest arrest.
He said, “I discussed it with White House officials.” “He basically said to me, ‘If these immigrants cross the border, that’s all we really care about.’”
To me, that’s a problem,” Chamberlain added. “That’s a big problem.”

Apartment like viral summer video
You may recall that this is the same apartment complex where thugs were seen overtaking it in a video that went viral over the summer.
“We have been focusing extensively on that area,” the Aurora Police Chief explained. He does not suggest there is any connection between the videos from over the summer and this home invasion.
In fact, Chamberlain said it was likely the gang members had left the area.

President-elect Donald Trump spoke about the incident during his campaign, but Democrats sought to downplay the severity of the situation.
“In Aurora, Colorado, we see a group of very tough young thugs from Venezuela taking control of a large area, including a building,” Trump said. “They are occupying the building. They have big rifles, but they control the building. We will not allow this to happen. “We will not let them destroy our country.”
