First spotted by Brad Lynch at X Apple recently listed a new Belkin head strap for the Apple Vision Pro. This strap looks very similar (though not exactly identical) to the strap revealed at WWDC23. Works with Solo Knit bands.
Update November 3: Available now and shipping from November 6th. Original post below:
The new Belkin Head Strap for Apple Vision Pro is available for $49.95, but is currently not available for purchase.
The description of the new product is as follows:
Enhance your Apple Vision Pro experience with an ergonomic, adjustable head strap that provides superior comfort and stability. A stylish addition to the Solo Knit band, the aesthetically designed head strap features a secure closure and additional stabilization points to keep your Apple Vision Pro in place even during vigorous movements.
As mentioned earlier, Apple revealed a very similar product at WWDC23 when the Apple Vision Pro was first revealed, but the launch was never completed. Instead, they decided to release a cheaper dual-loop band that included a top strap, but didn’t include the same mesh fabric as the Solo Knit band.
Many users appreciate the comfort of the Solo Knit band but wish it had support above their head, so the price of this accessory, around $50, seems acceptable. Now you can theoretically have the best of both worlds. I wish this had been included in the box too.
