Apple is expected to hold its next keynote in October, possibly towards the end of the month. There are four main products we can expect to see this time, expected to be released on November 1st.
M4 MacBook Pro
We’ve already seen unboxings of this computer, but it hasn’t actually been released yet. Believe it or not. Apple is expected to unveil its new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro lineup with M4, M4 Pro, and M4 Max chips later this month.
The base model is definitely the more interesting offering this time around. That’s because it’s expected to pack 16GB of RAM for the first time, come in space black color, and have an additional Thunderbolt port on the right side.
M4 Mac Mini
We’re expecting the Mac mini’s biggest redesign in 14 years later this month. It has a much smaller design and includes front ports for the first time. Additionally, the next Mac mini is expected to drop support for USB-A. It’s available with the M4 and M4 Pro chips, starting with at least 16GB of RAM.
M4 iMac
We’re expecting an update to the iMac in October, although it’s a much smaller update. In the base model, you will be upgrading from the M3 chip to the M4 chip, and from 8GB RAM to 16GB RAM. There aren’t many other expected changes.
Considering the fact that Apple has to switch all of its products to comply with European regulations, it’s likely we’ll see updates to the new Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, and Magic Trackpad using USB-C.
iPad mini 7
Finally, we’re refreshing the iPad mini for the first time in three years. We are expecting an A18 chipset with support for Apple Intelligence and a new display that will fix “jelly scrolling”.
There is also likely to be support for Apple Pencil Pro and 128GB of native storage.
