Apple Fitness+ unveils exciting lineup of new ways to stay active and mindful in 2025
New programs for strength training, pickleball, yoga, breathing meditation, and a new collaboration with Strava.
Apple Fitness+ is kicking off the new year with its largest lineup of programming yet, giving users more ways to stay active and mindful in 2025. A conditioning program for pickleball, one of the fastest growing sports in the world. A new workshop-style yoga program helps users improve their skills through popular top poses, while a breathing meditation program helps manage stress, boost energy and improve focus. The Artist Spotlight series features some of music’s biggest stars, including Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Bruno Mars and Kendrick Lamar, while new Time to Walk episodes feature Adam Scott, Rita Ora, Daddy Yankee, Tiffany Haddish and more. Celebrated choreographer and dancer Alex Wong leads the exclusive dance movement.
The new content will be available on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV starting Monday, January 6. And with Apple Watch, users can add extra motivation with real-time metrics to enhance their experience and track their progress. Fitness+ is also collaborating with Strava to bring new integrations to the Strava app experience, with a special Fitness+ trial offer for Strava subscribers, and high-profile athletes from the Strava community will appear as workout guests.

3 perfect weeks of strength
Fitness+ unveils an all-new progressive strength program that guides users through the process of building and maintaining strength with a focus on efficiency. The three-week guided program targets all major muscle groups with 12 30-minute workouts, including progressive overload (week 1), time under tension (week 2), and dynamic power (week 3). Designed for results and repeatability, this basic fitness routine is one that users can resume, adjusting the weight as they get stronger.
Pickleball strength, endurance and agility
Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and is loved by casual and competitive players alike. Fitness+ now offers a strength, endurance and agility program for pickleball featuring professional pickleball champion Catherine Parenteau, ranked #1 in the world in both singles and doubles. The program includes a variety of exercises inspired by Parenteau’s own training methods, all designed to help you feel confident and perform at your best on the court.

Yoga Peak Posses brings an intimate workshop-style experience directly to you, wherever you are, with a focus on form and instruction typically found in one-on-one sessions. Each session highlights a single best pose – dancer, hand twisted to the big toe, crow – giving users focused time and instruction to build confidence and skills. For each pose, there is a 10-minute warm-up flow that prepares the user for that 10-minute practice session.
Introduction to breathing meditation
The new Introduction to Breathing Meditation program teaches powerful, easy-to-follow techniques to manage stress, boost energy, and improve focus. Users can choose from five 10-minute meditations, such as boat, box, and ocean breathing, to help them relax, recharge, and refocus. Additionally, Breathing is now included as a theme within Fitness+, giving you a total of 12 unique meditation themes including Calmness, Sleep, and Sound. These themes make it easier for users to find a meditation practice that fits their lifestyle.
Spotlight on music’s biggest stars
Our Artist Spotlight series, which features entire workout playlists on single artists, is back with new workouts featuring music from the world’s best artists. Upcoming featured artists include: Janet Jackson (starting January 13th), coldplay (from January 20th), bruno mars (starting January 27th) and Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show Headliner kendrick lamar (From February 3rd). Each playlist is designed to fuel your workouts across different types of training, from cycling and HIIT to strength training and dance, and add new levels of energy to every movement.
New episode of Walking Time
Time to Walk, an award-winning audio experience for iPhone and Apple Watch designed to help people walk more often, allows users to walk with some of the world’s most interesting and influential people while sharing stories, photos, and songs. New episodes begin January 13th with award-winning actors and comedians. Fitness+ partners with Strava
Fitness+ has teamed up with Strava, the app for active people, to bring new integrations to the Strava experience and offer special offers to Strava subscribers. With improved integration, when members share a Fitness+ workout to Strava, the Strava app now displays rich details, including episode images, episode numbers, music genres, trainer names, and metrics, allowing them to track and share their fitness journey with their community.
