Rock Sam Deputy says the All Blacks are “excited” for the chance to redeem themselves on Saturday after their shock defeat to Argentina.
Looking to bounce back from their shock 30-38 defeat in Wellington, New Zealand this week, the All Blacks face Los Pumas, who have not lost a Test match for 30 years, at Eden Park.
They were outplayed last week but the manager says the Kiwis are relishing the chance to bounce back.
“We have to own our mistakes,” he told reporters in Auckland on Tuesday. “It’s everyone’s fault. Everyone has to look in the mirror. – It’s about how they prepare for the game, how they show up for the game, and how we can get better.

“We are really excited about the opportunity to play against a quality team in Argentina at Eden Park. It will be a good test to see what we are made of.”
The 24-year-old made his debut against Fiji in San Diego last month. He scored his first Test try against Argentina in Wellington, but suffered his first defeat in the famous black kit.
“It was really painful,” he admitted. The deputy said there was no panic in the All Blacks camp and the team saw plenty of positives despite the defeat.
“We’re really clear on how we want to play,” he said. “There are a few things we’d like to tweak, but there are also a few things we’re really happy with, so we don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.
“We still know what’s right for us and we’re going to stick to it.”
