Princess Maker 2! Parasol Star! Tinkle Feet? After summarizing everything worth summarizing, we move on to the general list of new and expiring sales for the day. Let’s get to the game!
Select a new release
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Deluxe Edition ($59.99)
Oh, hello, here’s a recent game from Namco that is unlicensed on Switch. This doesn’t happen very often. This is a port of a great game from 2019 that was released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows. I’m not sure how well the conversion went, but I’ll give it a try and see how it goes. But if you’re looking for fighter combat and dramatic storytelling, you can’t go wrong with this game. Ace Combat stratagem.
Muv-Luv/Muv-Luv Alternative Remaster Double Pack ($64.99)
every muvsevery Loves. This way you can get the whole thing. bee rabbit The saga in all its mad glory is packed into one awesome package. This visual novel series starts off as a rather generic romantic comedy, but ends up being something completely different and much more interesting halfway through the first game included here. The games are available individually, but you’ll need to buy the entire collection to actually get the game. This is a much-loved part of the visual novel canon, and if you like the genre but haven’t played it yet, it’s worth digging into.
Parasol Star – Story of Bubble Bobble III ($9.99)
This is the third game Bubble Bobble Series! No, that’s not it. No, that’s not it. that One of the two. different Third! The one on the TurboGrafx-16! The one with the umbrella! It’s a good game. I think it’s better than this. rainbow islandBut it’s not that good Bubble Bobble. The entire continent disagrees with me. Well, now you can find out for yourself. It’s a pretty typical Ratalica wrapper release, but I’ve worked on it to make it feel a little less like a plain brown paper bag. I’ll be reviewing this product soon, but if you already know what I think, Parasol StarYou can probably figure out the rest of the equation on your own.
Princess Maker 2 Regeneration ($39.99)
A remake of the popular parenting simulation game from 1993. The game is based on the 2004 Refine release, with Takami Akai re-drawing and cleaning up the game here and there. It also has a new opening animation by Yonago-Gainax, which is nice. But at its core, it’s still the classic game that captured the hearts of many players back then. Do your best to raise your daughter into a good, honest, and happy adult. If you don’t do it right… well, a lot can go wrong. I’ll have a review soon, so stay tuned if you want to know more.
EGGCONSOLE Popful Mail PC-8801mkIISR ($6.49)
wow! Popful Mail! I think most of us in the English speaking world will know this game as the SEGA-CD version. And “Popful Mail“And I’m running to the store. Like everyone else. Egg console The in-game text that was released is identical to the original Japanese release version. That is, it is in Japanese. And there is a fair amount of text here. This is also the original PC-8801 version of the game, and the SEGA-CD version was an improved port with many features that you won’t find here. I will review it early next week to give you a full rundown, but if you can’t read Japanese, consider carefully before purchasing.
Arcade Archive Tinkle Pete ($7.99)
Here’s a nice ambiguity. In 1993, Namco released this game as a sort of commemoration of the company’s history in video games. It’s a maze game where you have to defeat enemies, and to do that… Okay, you know those vacuum cleaners that have a cord that extends? You press the button and HoooooImagine a game where code flies at the speed of sound and you attack your enemies with it. Tinkle FeetIt’s really funny, and the name has been making me laugh for over 30 years now.
Ogre Tail ($19.99)
You see, when I think of MAGES, I tend to think of visual novels. It’s definitely not an action RPG brawler. But that’s pretty much it. It’s been out on PC for a few years now, and I would characterize the general reaction to it as “meh.” Since it’s MAGES, at least we get a decent story to go along with the action. It’s not enough to save it, but it’s something.
Night Reverie ($14.99)
One of those slightly creepy mystery adventure games. You are a kid wandering around a distorted and dreamlike version of a house. Talk to various characters, collect items, solve puzzles, and explore. If you think you can handle the truth, find out what’s really going on. Jack Nicholson thinks you can’t. Prove him wrong.
Moonshine Co., Ltd ($19.99)
We’ve seen a number of brewing sims over the years, and here’s one dedicated to the practice of making moonshine. It’s not technically legal, so you’ll need a few extra spices. You build a base, make moonshine with your chosen recipe, etc. Reviews for this on PC are a bit bland, but I think if you’re interested enough in the subject, you’ll be able to overlook some of the shortcomings.
Plum and Milo ($10.49)
It’s a turn-based puzzle game with 78 levels to play through and two different characters to use. It’s okay, but it feels more like a $5 game than a $10 game. I leave it up to you and your wallet.
Sunlight Scream ($6.99)
It’s a rather cheap visual novel with multiple endings and a few choices to make along the way. The story follows the protagonist moving from a big city to a small town and almost immediately getting caught up in all sorts of drama. I’d say that $7. bee rabbit Visual novels are popular these days, but do what you want.
Gluk ($6.99)
If you like digging games, you might like Gluck. You explore the underground to restore the water supply, but you have to pretend to be a miner to do so. That means you do actual mining, collecting ore and selling it to upgrade your equipment and advance further. I’ve seen a lot of games like this, but there aren’t many that wouldn’t welcome another one.
Let’s Aim! Shooting Gallery ($5.00)
Continuing the festive theme of recent games, SAT-BOX has today released a shooting gallery game for up to four players. It’s very much in the minigame camp, so don’t expect it to last long or be very varied. But for £5, it could be a fun game for a gaming party.
sales
(North American eShop, US pricing)
There’s a huge indie game sale going on in Japan right now, and I think it’ll be a bit more widespread by the time I talk to you again. For now, here’s a nice little list: Ender Lily, Rainbow Moonand Good goal! 2 About that. There’s a really big list of outboxes, and I think you’ll want to look at them just to be safe. Do what we do!
