Creators of popular TV shows It’s always sunny in Philadelphia and Abbott Elementary School We’re finally giving fans the crossover episode they’ve been waiting for.
Always sunny star and co-creator Rob McElhenney A photo was shared by X on social media on Thursday, October 3, where he and his colleagues beautiful co-star Charlie Dayposing together Abbott Stars and Creators Quinta Brunson.
The photo, which appears to confirm that a crossover episode between the two shows is in the works, was taken outside of Abbott’s Warner Bros. studio lot. manifold report.
McElhenney went on to share another photo via: XIt shows the star posing with co-stars Brunson, Day and Sunny. Danny DeVito Abbott co-stars Tyler James Williams and William Stanford Davis (Also known as Dear Mr. Johnson).

“A lot of people are saying this feels like an episode of Sunny, but to me it feels like a @alwayssunnt @AbbotElemABC crossover episode,” he said. Brunson then shared a screenshot of the post and wrote: “Just say the word @robmcelhenney. i love you.”
Of course, fans of both shows quickly took to the comments section of McElhenney’s post Thursday to share their excitement.
“Abbott/It’s Always Sunny crossover. We never came back.” one fan wrote via X.
“I’ve always believed that Abbott Elementary and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia take place in the same universe. Now this is proof,” posted another.
