Few quarterbacks in NFL history have been productive after turning 40 (the age Aaron Rodgers will be this December). He will enter his 20th season in the league in 2024, nearing the end of an illustrious career that has established him as one of the all-time greats. He has the opportunity to etch his name further into his record books during the upcoming campaign, but his potential success will depend on his ability to bounce back from a devastating injury in his advanced years.
Aaron Rodgers could reach an NFL milestone in 2024.
“If I don’t do what I can, maybe we’ll all be out of here. “But I like that kind of pressure,” he said.

Rodgers currently sits at 59,055 passing yards for his career, and if he gains at least 945 more yards, he would become the ninth quarterback in NFL history to reach the 60,000 plateau. His three or four productive games put him at that level early in the season, and he has since moved on to join Dan Marino for eighth place on the all-time yardage list with 61,361.
If he overcomes the adversity and regains his previous form with a 4,000-plus yard season, Rodgers could even threaten to move into fifth place on the all-time list.
Yards aren’t the only milestone Aaron Rodgers expects to surpass this upcoming NFL season. His touchdown total is currently set at 475 and he needs 25 more to reach the exclusive 500 club. With 34 touchdown throws, he passed Brett Favre for fourth all-time.
Success will depend on your recovery from a torn ACL and your age.

Again, all of the Jets’ potential success and Rodgers’ milestones hinge on his recovery from a torn ACL. He suffered an illness in the fourth game of his first season in New York, immediately ending the most hopeful season the team had had in decades. While all reports indicate that the quarterback will be fully active once the upcoming season begins, there is good reason to believe that Aaron Rodgers may not be the same player he once was.
The Jets are scheduled to play an NFL-high six prime-time games within the first 11 weeks of the season, so the team will be in full effect in 2024.
