Bungie’s original Marathon series is coming to Steam, and the first game in the trilogy is now available for free.
“From the team behind Aleph One, Bungie’s classic sci-fi FPS marathon for Mac has been brought to life on modern hardware by the fan community,” reads the game’s Steam description.
Bungie is rebooting the franchise with Marathon, a sci-fi PvP rip-off shooter announced for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in May 2023.
The game’s release date has not yet been confirmed, but it is reportedly targeting a 2025 release due to internal delays.
Today we’re excited to announce that the Aleph One community is releasing the original 1994-1996 Marathon Trilogy on Steam, starting with Marathon 1.
